These artists expand Islamic Art beyond its perceived reductive mathematical confines, exploring its spiritual and human elements. "Nafs" – meaning self or psyche – challenges existing conventions and fosters dialogue on Islamic artistic identity.
"Nafs" redefines traditional Islamic art forms to offer a deeper understanding of the self, society and the human ego. The presentation honours Islamic artistry and its complex layers.
