Rami Farook Emirati, b. 1981

Rami Farook, is an interdisciplinary artist, curator & producer. Self-taught, Rami's creation, exhibition, exchange began as a patron, gallerist and collector in 2007. His experience with the conditions of art (its possibilities & responsibilities) directly affect his work - often describing it as "self & social, portraits & landscapes". He collaborates with others, experiments with technique, and executes emotionally & impulsively. Usually returning to an unidentified studio to "journal" thoughts, history, feelings & experiences. With a purpose to be useful, honorable & compassionate, he believes that as an artist anything he does may be art.
