Hundreds of hands, faces and gestures press toward the barrier a tangible expression of longing and a collective attempt to touch the sacred. The work records that crowded intimacy without explanation, leaving each viewer to meet their own question. Hands searching for God become hands we recognise: a simultaneously concrete and abstract journey toward the divine
