Within the exhibition’s broader exploration of inner and material spaces, "The Light of My Eyes" comprises a series of small scale paintings in which light emerges from near black grounds, generating illumination from within the darkness itself rather than from an external source. Hovering between stillness and vibration, the compositions resist fixed orientation, leaving it uncertain whether one is looking inward or outward. Darkness is not absence but a fertile ground where interior imagery, memory, and perception continuously form. In this way, the paintings gesture toward the inner architectures that echo the exhibition’s sculptural and spatial forms, offering fleeting passages into luminous, intangible spaces.
