You Are My Return presents Adani bukhoor cubes arranged across steel wall mounted shelves, forming a quiet, letter-like configuration. Lifted from the ground, the work shifts from landscape to inscription, reading as a message held in material rather than language.
Removed from their function of being burned, the bukhoor cubes exist in suspension, still carrying their scent yet resisting release. The steel shelves hold the composition in a state of pause, suggesting an act of address, a gesture of calling back. In this elevation, memory becomes something spoken to rather than traversed: a trace of longing, return, and connection.
