Art Basel Paris 2026: Group Presentation
ATHR brings together Abdulrahman AlSoliman, Ayman Yossri Daydban,
Mohammed AlFaraj, Rami Farook and Sarah Abu Abdallah in a presentation that traces shifting
visual languages across generations of Saudi contemporary practice.
Moving between painting, photography, installation, material experimentation, and research-led
approaches, the presentation reflects on place, memory, transformation, and the changing relationship
between image, landscape, and lived experience. Historical and contemporary positions sit in dialogue,
revealing how artists across different generations revisit inherited forms, social structures, urban
environments, and personal histories through distinct material and conceptual vocabularies.
Together, the works foreground the breadth of artistic practice emerging from and around Saudi Arabia,
while situating these perspectives within wider conversations around modernity, memory, belonging,
and transformation.
