ATHR is pleased to announce the appointment of Lacy Schutz as our new Cultural Assets Director. With nearly twenty years of experience in the arts, culture, and design industry in the United States, Schutz has been part of many prestigious institutions such as the Clark Art Institute and the Museum of the City of New York. Most recently, she transformed Shaker Museum into a globally recognized institution engaged with contemporary design. Schutz’s continuous dedication to preserving and celebrating culture is the driving force behind her decision to explore the Saudi cultural scene, inspired by Vision 2030 and the opportunities for transformation in Saudi Arabia. Schutz will be spearheading ATHR’s projects that involve museums, libraries, and other centers of arts and culture.
“I'm thrilled to lead ATHR's cultural projects as we align with Vision 2030. My goal is to forge impactful partnerships that elevate the cultural landscape and showcase the richness of Saudi heritage. ATHR has an exceptional track record in creating innovative programs that deepen cultural awareness, and I'm committed to building on that foundation and driving the organization toward even greater successes,” Schutz said.
ATHR is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of artists in Saudi Arabia and empowering them to start meaningful careers in culture, and we look forward to tackling arising challenges with our dedicated projects team.
